I was born and raised in Staffordshire U.K., where I attended Wulfrun College. I served in the Civil Service, in Staffordshire, Lancashire and finally in Gloucestershire, before moving to upper New York State, in the 1970s.
I joined the DBE over thirty years ago after moving to California. I have been Regent and Vice Regent of my chapter several times. As well as serving as Communications Secretary, I have been involved in organizing the State Tea Room fundraiser for several years.
I also volunteer at church, and at the City Library, after retiring from there a few years ago. I continue to enjoy my longstanding DBE friendships, and also making new DBE friends.
