Born in Reading, Berkshire I spent my childhood in Oxfordshire and Surrey (England).
Prior to emigrating to the U.S. in 1972, I worked for the British Government on a Royal Air Force and a United States Air Force Base in Oxfordshire.
Prior to living in Northern California, I lived in Colorado and Minnesota. My husband Jim and I have been married for 38 years and have three grown up children, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
I joined DBE Minnesota in 1980 and served as State Recording Secretary and Regent of the Atlantic Charter Chapter in Minnesota. After moving to Northern California in 1992, I transferred my DBE membership to the John McLaren Chapter where I served as Regent of the Chapter. I later transferred my membership to the Rose of Glamis Chapter where I have served twice as Regent.
In 1992, I joined the Northern California State Board and have held the positions of President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary and Organizer.
During 2017-2019 I served as National 1st Vice President with the 33rd Administration. I am now serving as State Organizer.
My hobbies are reading, gardening and cooking.
