Born in Hindhead, Surrey, England and at aged four, moved to Durban, South Africa where I spent my formative years before returning to England in 1964.
Emigrated to the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area in 1978 with my husband and two young daughters where, in Wayne, PA, I joined the DBE as a member of Kent Chapter.
In 1989 we moved to Walnut Creek, California where I transferred my DBE membership and joined the Rose of Glamis Chapter.
Since joining the DBE 40 plus years ago, I have held every Chapter Officer position and am currently serving as Chapter Treasurer. I have served on a number of Nominating Committees both at Chapter and State Board levels and have been very involved in all the Chapter fundraising events. I have also served on the No. Cal. State Board as 3rd VP and currently as Standard Bearer.
